Last year it became one of the biggest tournaments in poker history, so what will the 15th Anniversary of the Sunday Million hold for us this year?
On March 21 they will host the landmark event with a $215 buy-in and $12.5 million guaranteed.
It will be a three day event with 5 re-entries possible and late registration until the start of Day 2 on Monday.
Keep an eye on PokerStars this month as they will be giving away $500,000 of tickets to this tournament in the coming weeks.
In 2020 the Sunday Million Anniversary event attracted 93,016 entries and created a prize pool of $18,603,200. The eventual winner AAAArthur of Brazil turned a $4 satellite win into $1,192,802 after a four way chop. It was the biggest Sunday Million in poker history.
The large numbers were due to the fact that the world had just been put into lockdown. Although the future is looking comparatively brighter this time around, we won’t be out of it yet and we could see similar numbers in March.
Will this be as big as last year’s event? Let us know in the comments:
